The purpose of the youth group at St. Luke's is to provide a safe place for spiritual growth and fellowship to take
place.
On Sunday mornings our youth attend "Faithweavers" Sunday school at 9:30am followed by attending our blended
(mix of contemporary and traditional music) worship service at 10:45am. On Sunday afternoons the youth have
their own separate time of fellowship and games, and throughout the week our youth have the opportunity to get
involved in other activities within the church, including our midweek chidlren's program on Wednesday nights.
Then our summers are filled with mission work, retreats, fun and fellowship as we seek to know what God's will
for our lives is.

This past summer our youth were involved in a number of mission opportunities, as well as a number of
opportunities for fun and fellowship, including: 3-day retreat to the Outdoor Wilderness Center in Dubach,
Louisiana, Weekend of the Cross, serving meals at the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission, packing boxes and
hosting a food drive for the Northwest Louisiana Food Bank, Watertown, bowling night, movie nights, and much
more!
We invite all youth from 6th - 12th grade to join us as we seek to grow in our faith and understand that God's plan
for our lives is much better than any plan we might decide for ourselves, that God loves each one of us for who we
are, and that God promises to walk with us through the many challenges and difficulties that our teenagers face in
today's world.
Our youth staff and pastor are also committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our youth to come
and learn and be accepted. We are a family of believers, and are committed to showing the love that God has for
each of us, to each other in all that we do.
